About Us
Community Health Support Initiative (CHSI) supports the youth, women and children in different ways like Community-Based health services and even resource mobilization.
CHSI aims at improving healthcare services at a community level and here are some key points about what we deal with.
- We emphasize on health education to rase awareness abiut common health issues such as maternal and child health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS, Malria, and tuberculosis.
- We also focus on mobilizing resources, both financial and material, to support community health activities.
- We also have community participations which ensures that healthcare initiatives are tailored to the specific needs of the community.
- We also allow volunteer health workers (CHVs) who are local residents trained to provide essential health services by visiting homes to educate people about health practices.
And our ultimate goal is to create a sustainable, community-driven healthcare system that ensures everyone gets the care they need and to provide high quality culturally appropriate healthcare services, and to also strengthen the community's ability to respond to these health challenges.
